Serkan Aziz Demirtaş is one of the partners of Ozdinc Demirtas Turk Law Firm and he has professional experience of over 20 years.
After working as a lawyer at Alarko Group (Hillside), Finansbank, and Multi Development Turkey companies at the beginning of his professional life, he served as a senior legal consultant at OMV Petrol Ofisi and as Legal Director at DeFacto retailer. During this period, he gained a broad perspective on different fields and disciplines by gaining experience in Turkey’s major local and foreign capital companies, in different sectors such as Retail, Real Property, Construction, Energy, and Tourism.
Within his past experiences, it is worth mentioning: management, administration, taking over and transferring of hotels; playing a lead role in all processes for shopping malls in different cities of Turkey, land purchasing and development, construction, leasing shops to tenants, mall management, selling malls to local and foreign investors; managing individual labor law processes for the corporate clients; managing the legal risks and operations of investments in different countries as the responsible legal director in MENA, CIS and Southern Europe regions.
Further, in all these processes, he has also managed and monitored of standardization projects that use many up-to-date technologies such as legal affairs and document automation, archiving, contract drafting and management, and development of workflow systems within the companies.
Serkan A. Demirtas, continues to provide legal consultancy services to corporate clients in various sectors, especially in the fields of Law of Obligations, Commercial Law, Labor Law, and Contracts.
